New Chelsea Manager Looks to Attack
As Chelsea is preparing to welcome back star striker Dider Drogba, new manager Avram Grant is saying that he wants to go all out offensive with his International superstar back.

He was quoted as saying he wanted to play “at least 5 in the attack” and that the 4-0 cruising over Hull in the Carling Cup was “just the beginning”.
Chelsea has been short on goals ever since releasing manager Jose Mourinho about two weeks ago.¬† The win over Hull was the first in five games.¬† The Blues players have promised more of the same as he wants to put his own up tempo playing style into Chelsea’s old style. ¬†
” I think we have a good base and yes I would like Chelsea to play with at least five players in the attack”.
This definitely poses  question marks in the back, but with Petr Cech and others lining the defense that only a year ago put records for the fewest goals allowed in a fiscal FA Premier League year, does it really matter?  With the return of Drogba, who was troubled with a knee injury, the attack immediately becomes more potent.  Andriy Shevechenko has less on his shoulders as Drogba, who scored 33 goals last season for the Carling and FA Cup Champion Blues, is possibly the best striker in the world.
Even though Drogba’s future was in doubt after Mourinho’s exit,¬† Grant is reportedly deligted to have the striker on the team and will support him whole heartedly.
